Brownback visits N.H., talks to conservative Christian activists
MANCHESTER, N.H. -- U.S. Senator Sam Brownback's first trip to New Hampshire since declaring his candidacy for the presidency billed himself as the social and fiscal conservative in the race.

Speaking at an Italian restaurant in Manchester to conservative Christian activists and home schooling families, the Kansas Republican emphasized his pro-life credentials. He said being pro-life doesn't end at birth. Brownback described himself as the "whole life" candidate. He says that means caring for people throughout their lives with anti-poverty and social programs and programs to reduce criminal recidivism.

Earlier in the day Brownback stopped at Oracle Corporation in Nashua, where he promoted his alternative flat tax proposal.
