Poll question: Would You Skip A Day of Work To Take To the Streets?
Europeans regularly take to the streets on workdays to protest their governments. Would you do the same?

Ms. Sister,

I'm sure that your patch of Texas is lovely - but it's a bit far from Boston. A lot of miles, and I suspect that I'd have my Northeast-Liberal-Jew butt tossed in jail within minutes, so I wouldn't be able to appreciate the scenery and fine company.

Sigh.

Europeans have better workday packages than Americans...more days off, more paid days off, and lots of times, if there is to be a demonstration, businesses just shut down ANYWAY, and the workers, who are given the day off anyway, go out for the heck of it. It's quite social, actually. A bit more over there than here, I think...
