Another reason to oppose Kerry IMHO
Soldiers coming home from the war zone killing their wives and, in this terribly awful case, their own infant child.

Kerry voted to allow this to happen. Who knows what the ---- kind of pressure these men are under which would never have happened but for the spinelessness of people like Kerry who had NO need to vote for this war.

1. I'm really trying here, but
Isn't it an enormous stretch to link Kerry to this tragic incident? True, his war support was not called for but what senator didn't vote for the war given the circumstances of an election? Let's try to stick to the prize at hand, the White House and ABB!

4. We almost need truth police
The smears being spewed are really beginning to stink this place up.

In 2000 some of the same kind of lies were spewed about Gore. Well, come the time the primaries are over, anyone slamming the nominee will be eliminated from DU. (Pretty sure that's what the rules say). Almost makes me wish the primaries were already over.

2. let's follow your logic.
vote against Kerry because he voted for a war that caused spouse abuse and murder?

I mean, I would at least think you would harp on the more direct result of 500+ dead and thousands of maimed US soldiers.

But...if you oppose Kerry than you support...Edwards who also voted for it?...Kucinich? get real. Dean? You think we should support Dean because Kerry voted on that resolution? Give me a break. Dean is in a nice safe place from which to cast stones. He wasn't there. He had retired from Governor and was the general town crier about anything and everything wrong with DLC, etc.

Well, if you don't mean oppose Kerry for dean...then the only thing you could mean is oppose Kerry--vote Bush. I think you see where your logic fails on this one.

End of class.
