3. Probably already spent
Maybe he'll have enough to give campaign employees two weeks pay.

8. I bet it will all be spent on bills
Remember, his staff took a voluntary pay free week so he could run ads.

9. I think it can also be donated to charities, maybe the DNC
the donating leftover funds to the party may have been changed with campaign finance reform though.

11. Legally:
1. He pays off what he owes. This includes regular debt, but also staff salaries, "winding down" expenses, early-termination penalties on leases or phone contracts, etc. Chances are, he won't have much money after that. BUT, if he does, he can do any or all of the following --
2. He can contribute to the DNC, state parties, other federal candidiates (in various amounts, limited by law)
3. Keep his committee open and active for a possible VP slot, '08 run or House/Senate race
4. Contribute unlimited amounts to charities (they must be tax-exempt charities, so he can't give to DU or to MoveOn or anything like that)

Clark's announcement that he withdrew yesterday doesn't mean anything to the FEC. He's still a candidate in their eyes, and can still continue to collect and disburse funds, until he files a termination report.
