We've got it. We will use it. And if we don't use our power to keep some kind of order in the world, someone else will.
America's power was in place before most of us were even born. And we, as Americans, have lived high on the hog by virtue of that power.
To be clear, in some cases, I am not happy with how America has exercised it's power. In other cases, our power has been used wisely, and for the betterment of other people around the world.
The future of how America's power will be used is in our hands. We should accept the responsibility for it, and work to see that our leaders use it wisely, or we will see that power misused again and again.
Let us not reject or deny our power, but rather work to make sure that it is used wisely, and in a way that we can be proud.
One reason I vote for Democrats is that on the whole, Dems weild our worldwide power much more wisely than the pugs. Any one of our candidates would be far better than * in that regard. Right?
