23. Clark' s Endorsement (?)
I can think of reasons for Clark to endorse each of the remaining candidates. Will be interesting to see who he chooses (IF he does). Personally, I felt that of all the candidates, Dean and Clark seemed to be in it for the most altruistic reasons. I'm not saying that they aren't ambitious, or don't want to be President; but they seemed to be doing it more as a reaction to what they were seeing happen to the country, than some of the others (Kucinich excepted. He is definitely the Progressive/Populist candidate; however, I don't think that the nation hasn't progressed that far). If that is the case, then Dean might just be the choice.

5. This man is SUCH A LOSS....I have a lump in my throat just listening to
him...I'm a Canadian and I feel the loss of this man as your leader...I think he would do SO VERY MUCH to mend relations with your country and the rest of the world....He is so impressive....It's really too bad....With the USA being the only super power now, he would mean so much to fix what Bush has broken....

8. "Clark's purpose"
Thanks a fucking lot. A lot of us worked hard on his campaign because we were pro-Clark, not anti-Dean (in fact, often the contrary)

But, sure, the whole thing was a marionette show used to destroy the Good Doctor.

19. Gotta love that crap
Maybe the DLC was hoping Clark would run to stop Dean, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that Clark's supporters got on board because they liked Clark, not because they felt compelled to stop Dean. It really sickens me when I see Kerry supporters assume that Clark supporters hate Dean as much as they do. Clark has a hell of a lot more in common then he does with Kerry. Both Clark and Dean entered the race to try to fix what is wrong with our government and to serve the little guy. Kerry is just in the race because he wants another political notch in his belt. Don't let it bug you too bad...even us Dean supporters know that you Clark guys believed in Clark and were genuine supporters for the right reasons, not some dumb ass "Do whatever you can to stop Dean" mentality. :eyes:

20. because Dean is the sun and we mere mortals
are merely revolving around him.

No, I don't "hate" Dean but sometimes you have to wonder about the logical functions of the brains of his admirers. Wesley Clark disrupted his life, undoubtedly spent money of his own to what? Annoy Howard Dean? I doubt that. He's a man with better things to do.

What a foolish statement.

I guess those of us who drafted him and asked him to run, did so because we wanted to destroy Dean? Please.

There were concerns at every level of the party that Dean couldn't get the job done. Go figure.
