IAFF Presidential Candidates Lineup
Did anyone see Hagel's speech? I only caught part of it so I didn't catch whether he asked for their support at the end.

If he's not running, why would he be in that lineup to make a speech?

1. I was curious about that too--just read a review in WaPo that said
he screwed up by mentioning volunteer firefighters to a union crowd--apparently a no-no...

2. Thanks, I'll check that out
Hagel still is the one that scares the crap out of me the most. If he ever gets on his game...

His brother thinks he'll be getting into it.

3. He'll do it as an Indy--if he was going to run as a 'Pug, he'd have to
get in now. As an Indy, he doesn't have to do the primary thing, and can take his time, I guess.

4. I agree. I think he'll run as an Independent.
He'll have no chance in the GOP field, especially with his decision to wait.

Hagel/Lieberman??

Independent Republican against the war and Independent Democrat for it?!?

What a ticket....

:sarcasm:

5. Hagel would probably sooner strangle him than run with him--LOL!

6. If Hagel strangles Lieberman, he'll have my support. On second thought...ew....no.
Tempting though ;)
