is there any way (re clark)
for people who understand the process better than i - that at the convention somehow delegates could end up putting clark in? this probably sounds like foolishness but i guess i'm in denial that he's out of the race for pres and am looking for something to hold onto.

1. It's possible but not going to happen.
If no one is nominated on the first vote everyone can change on the second and hypothetically nominate Clark. Hope for the VP slot.

2. not sure about everywhere
but write in is generally acceptable.

get enough people to vote that way and the votes still count, delegates assigned.

tall order but nothing is impossible.

well, maybe me regrowing hair but other than that, nothing.

3. I saw a link here the other day that explained it
basically yes there is a way at the convention to draft Clark if the candidate did not get enough committed delegates. If for example that Kerry implodes before the convention changes could still be made.

6. Yes he keeps them
Deborah Norville asked him what he was doing with them and he said he doesn't yet know.
