House overturns Bush order on papers secrecy

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Brushing aside a veto threat, the House of Representatives voted on Wednesday to overturn a 2001 order by President George W. Bush that lets former presidents keep their papers secret indefinitely. The measure, which drew bipartisan support and passed by a veto-busting 333-93 margin, was among White House-opposed bills the House passed that would widen access to government information and protect government whistleblowers.

1. Good it is our govt. not Bush's. He has forgot just who is in
charge in this govt. It was set up to be run by the people. They are all our papers if done while in office. Yes I know it took a long time to get Indians, blacks and women and people who did not own property in but it still is a nice aim. My hope is that Bush will go and live in Saudi Arabia where he can became one of the royal family and live like a Prince and just leave us alone. He is as bad as Pigpen from Snoopy. He leaves a mess every place he gets near. It must just fall off him like mist.

3. This was a particularly evil thing Bush did.
Made me realize what a real flyspeck he is.
