Concerning the Clark campaign
Bear with me. It's sort of my farewell to the experience.
I've worked several campaigns before. I've done everything from stuffing envelopes for Elaine Marshall's successful campaign against against Richard Petty for Secr. of State in NC to putting together Cinton/Gore signs, to arranging speaking engagements. Won some, lost some. But I just wanted to say for this brief period of the Clark campaign, I think I had more satisfaction in what I was doing. This wasn't politics for me. It was about having a reasoned voice to support in a strange confused time for the country. It was more about a message of truth of where we are in this country. Therefore, it wasn't politics as usual. It wasn't just about an election. It was more.

-I'm out.-

See you all later.

4. Yes, it was more - so much more.
For me it was a bit magical. Someone who made us proud, raised the bar on integrity and leadership and intelligence. When he spoke I wanted to hear more and more. I could never get enough of him.

Plus the whole family - Gert, what a Lady! She would have been a wonderful First Lady. Wes Jr. and his young family.

5. Very well said. I was actually moved in a meaningful way.
And that is not easy for me, I am a fairly cynical person. I'm going to support the nominee but I don't feel it anymore. I guess I'll turn my positive energy into negative against the Chimp.

7. That's generally the only attitude I can come up with right now.
Can't see it changing anytime soon. Still, it's sad to have to fight "against" instead of "for".

6. I'll be back soon
We all have to pull together to win this election. Just need a breather. I appreciate all DU'ers. I'll be a DU'er as long as I can. Appreciate the comments.
