EDWARDS Supporters: Check In!
We've made it through to the other side, and a new campaign starts today. I think we can see pretty clear to March 2 now.

Reading through the threads at DU, I want to say that we shouldn't be trying to turn Clark supporters anytime soon. I've been thinking about how I would feel if Edwards dropped out, and I don't think I'd be ready to jump on another bandwagon. It's not so important to recruit until we get closer to Super Tuesday.

Also, download this mp3 I made with John Mellencamp and Edwards' Two Americas speech.

I had played with the Dean Scream a while back, but this was far more satisfying. I've had Mellencamp and Edwards stuck in my head forever, and this was my way of expressing that I suppose. Give it a listen! Let me know what you think!

13. That's not what I've been reading in your postings.
In one thread, you strongly backed the war resolution Dean backed and made a big deal about your belief that it was better than the one Edwards and Kerry backed. If you are pro-Edwards, why aren't your postings more supportive of him? This is an observation about your postings and a question - not a flame.

18. Okay...
...I'm not a big fan of intra-Edwards sniping so I want to try to defuse this...

Cuban has been for Edwards for a long time, and I just tried to read through the thread about Biden-Lugar.

Personally, I believe that Biden-Lugar was effectively the same as the IWR. Bush basically never came back to Congress after the IWR passed and he wouldn't have needed to do so under B-L. To me, they are one and the same.

Personally, I would not have voted for either and was pretty pissed off at the time. However, I believe that it does not matter for this election because we're not electing someone to vote on a war resolution in 2002, we're electing someone to deal with our problems in 2004. John Edwards is the best man for that job.

So what's the poop on Clark? Seems to me he's not going to endorse anyone until the convention.

7. I'm an Edwards supporter!!!
but I still suppoort Dean first and would love a Dean Edwards ticket.

I'm also a DK supporter.

If Dean leaves (and I still have hope for him though) I will probably vote Edwards unless DK meeds me.

Ohhh, I don't know really.

But Edwards is just alright with me!

9. I'm here.
Greetings from sunny Southern California!

I agree about not trying to turn Clark supporters into Edwards supporters. People should just make up their own minds.

10. Not a supporter. But I'm rooting for him. I like his stance on free
trade. I think that is a much more important issue than the IWPR.

12. Tucson, AZ in the house!
Last night we had a meetup here in Tucson. About 12 people showed up. We wrote over 1,000 cards to voters in Wisconsin. I spent all morning stamping them :-)

The fight has just begun. We will win this!

1 month ago Dean was unstoppable. Now it's Kerry. By next month it will be us!

Please everyone, do your part.

17. hey now
I'm reluctant to believe that Clark is no longer in the running, but it's time to hold my head up and get on board with another good man who got into politics for good reasons and can beat Bush, Edwards
