Why do I know that Creative Response Concepts of Arlington, VA is
right now firing up hit pieces on Waxman and his hearings into
the Plame outing?

* "Politically motivated witch hunt"

* "If we can not stand behind the President in his war on terror then
the terrorists will have won."

* "What message does this send to our troops who are risking their
lives?"

* "Nobody really cares about this anyway out in America."

Because the right wing slime machine will be going 24/7 I expect some sort
of "Al Gore, I invented the internet." piece of misinformation to be out by
next tuesday.

investigations. He was point man against tobacco, if you recall.

Waxman is just too senior and he can cause a lot of damage. You won't see any swiftboating of the guy. That's my take.

Waxman has fought for universal health insurance, comprehensive Medicare and Medicaid coverage, tobacco regulation, AIDS research and treatment, air and water quality standards, pesticide regulations, nursing home quality standards, women's health research and reproductive rights, affordable prescription drugs, and community rights to know about pollution levels.

Rep. Waxman has been involved in health issues since 1969, when he was appointed to the California State Assembly Health Committee. In Congress, Rep. Waxman has sponsored a long list of health bills that have been enacted into law. But my gut tells me that "they" will try something ....
that is their M.O.. Be it Waxman, the hearings, or
that Libby really is a nice guy who is be attacked by
"bush haters" something or other will come up.

BTW I met in 2004 one of the men who served w/ Kerry
on his Swift Boat in Columbus, OH and it still galls me that
people who claim love for America could do what that
did to Kerry. Remember "they" control much of the media
and so "they" can control the message.

Waxman is good guy w/ a great track record but Karl
Rove is an evil pig w/ a track record of slime.
