Fox News Apparently 'Changed Its Mind' About Rocky
By Doug Ware - KUTV.com

(KUTV) SALT LAKE CITY - Apparently, the scheduled showdown between Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson and conservative commentator Sean Hannity – which was to be televised nationally tonight – was called off because the Fox News Channel has other topics it wants to discuss, the network said Thursday.

Mayor Anderson was supposed to appear on the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity & Colmes” political debate program on Thursday night, to discuss resolutions to impeach President Bush and Vice President Cheney. However, the cable channel abruptly canceled the event this morning – citing scheduling problems.

Later, upon further explanation, "Hannity & Colmes" senior Producer John Finley said the program segment was never committed to a debate between Hannity and Mayor Anderson. According to Finley, the mayor's appearance was "tentative" and the decision to scrap the debate was a simple program decision because the show wanted instead to discuss other topics.

"It's just one of those things," Finley said.

“We were contacted on Monday and they assured us that we were confirmed for the show,” mayoral spokesman Patrick Thronson told KUTV.com. “We rearranged the mayor’s schedule so he could make it. It is very uncourteous of Fox to do this… given the amount of time we spent preparing for their program.”

Thronson said he was informed of the cancellation via voicemail message from Fox News producer Thomas Holmes on Thursday morning -- just a few hours before the debate was to take place. Holmes claimed that he was not able to “fill out the segment” for the program.

more...

4. There were brackets around two words in the OP that erased the words.
My fault for not catching that. Very uncourteous of 'FOX', and Holmes is the Fox News producer.

5. Rocky Anderson is responsible for Mitt Romney
When Romney was running for Governor of MA - he ran commercials featuring Rocky, talking about how great Mitt was - Rocky was a Democrat, telling MA voters that Mitt was a great guy and voters should support him.

Rocky affected the outcome of the race, Mitt was elected, and now he is running for president. Rocky gave Mitt his platform. Wonder if Rocky still supports Mitt now that Mitt sucked as a Governor b/c he abandoned his job to start running for Prez and took that 90 degree right hand turn.
