The last candidate I really gave a shit about who lost was John Anderson in 1980 -- 24 years ago. Age and wisdom take some of the sharpness out of the sting, but it's still there. This video kind of highlights it.

It would help if the rest of the field were stronger, but this field now reminds me of 1988 after Hart got burned with Donna Rice.
