Who would McCain and Giuliani be most likely to pick for their runningmate ?
I just doubt its "each other" for them, just as our side will never have (nor do many of us want) an Obama/Clinton or Clinton/Obama ticket.

Giuliani definately wouldn't pick Romney because Giuliani is Catholic and Northeastern and Michigan/Masschusetts/Mormon is further away from Southern Baptist than he'd ever consider going for his runningmate. Plus Romney seems to be going after Rudy.

McCain might pick Romney, I don't know what their relationship is.

Probably McCain's as well.

4. I expect Rudy would take Huckabee or Brownback
to try to get out the religious conservative vote in his favor.

Rudy desperately needs some religious conservative creds.

10. Rudy picking Brownback would be the ultimate backstab to Howard Stern
probably Rudy's biggest mainstream non-right-of-center friends in the media and pop culture.

It will be JEB - conservatives love him - and the 50% who voted for GWB will still vote for JEB - hey at least he has a sexy latina wife and some screw up kids to keep us entertainted.

12. Tim Pawlenty or Mark Sanford
McCain/Pawlenty and Giuliani/Sanford are likely bets.

Romney/Huckabee as an outside prediction.

14. I think the plan has been in the works for some time

To have Jeb Bush run as anyone's veep candidate just to get his foot in the door on the national level. And presumably to get the #1 slot a few years later. No doubt there's probably a lot of Carlisle money riding on it.
