Our Dem leaders are real meadheads allowing LIEberman to give this address.

Lieberman is on the Armed Services Committee, which has oversight on this hospital. What a putz!

4. So the Democrats can't even find a democrat to give their weekly address?
This does not fill me with a great deal of confidence in them.

Are the Dems trading a few minutes of national time for a vote?

15. I think maybe Lieberman offered to do it
either that or Reid or someone had him do it, just to prove his loyalty to the party after the fall out last week.

I agree with everything he said in the address so I don't really have a problem with it, but on the other hand let's keep in mind this is not the CFL Radio Address.

If Lieberman wants to disagree on some issues, fine...but he needs to stick with the party and stop bashing it on FOX. This is step 1 and we'll see where it goes from here.

17. Welcome to DU.
I have a huge problem with his accusations against the Dem Party en masse because they do not subscribe to Lieberman's 'yeah war' ideology. Dumping on the Dems like that is uncalled for. I don't trust him as far as I can throw him and any inclusion into the flock worries me. He is too smoochy close to the GOP to be trusted.

18. They let Jeffords give the address
And in all honesty, I'll support Lieberman so long as he does not stop caucusing with the Democrats, unless he's in a primary election or a general election with a viable Democrat. However, so long as he is in the Senate I'll defend him and I'll denounce any Republican, no matter how "moderate" they may be.

This would even apply if I had to vote in the 1988 Connecticut Senate election between Lieberman and Weicker. I would have voted Lieberman.

I will continue to this so long as the Democratic party remains the more liberal party compared to the Republicans.

22. I'm with Kos on this. I am finding Reid's contact info.
They are trying to get anyone who is not for the war and "centrist" to go and play somewhere else.
