Anybody else heard of "Cultural Creatives"?
A Democratic friend told me about it yesterday.
She thinks this may be the 'new' political direction/coalition.
The website is here:
http://www.culturalcreatives.org/home.html

An essay, "The New Political Compass" is here:
(78 page pdf)
http://www.culturalcreatives.org/Library/docs/NewPoliticalCompassV73.pdf

I've skimmed it.
There's a lot to digest and some of the charts and stats are a bit hard for me to grasp yet.
But I find myself in agreement with a lot of what is said.
I don't anticipate many replies to this post, but if you have the time to wade through it I'd like to hear your comments.
Thanks,
trof

2. Yeah, I see the book came out in 2000.
Thanks for the links.
Like I said, I don't expect this to generate many comments.
It's kinda deep.

5. I think it is pretty fascinating.
I remember when this first came out reading about how this should affect how cities try to attract population.

A switch from how many jobs can we create by luring business and industry ?(and people would follow)to what can we do about quality of life issues to attract people?
