either the capability or desire to do so. And it is also a far cry from claiming someone is advocating doing so.

That said, to mis-quote Billy Jack, 'If it looks like an ass kicking is inevitable, it's a good idea to get in the first kick.' Because of the threatening posture the US has taken, they have every reason to believe that we are going to attack them. They could, very legitimately, use that as a reason for a pre-emptive strike.

Of course, they never will, because they aren't fucking stupid enough to do so.
