Getting rid of Lieberman
Edited on Thu Feb-22-07 09:15 PM by NV1962
Instead of complaining about Dem candidates having an opportunity to address precisely those who most need hearing Democrats' voices, I'm in favor of drafting Joe Lieberman to run for '08.

The minute the "honorable" gentleman from Connecticut announces his formal bid, and lets go of his seat in the Senate, I'll call it Mission Accomplished.

Edited: damn typos...

1. He ran with Gore...remember?
He didn't resign his Senate seat then and he wouldn't have to now. Unless he won. If he won Jody Rell (Repuke) will appoint a Repuke anyway, so we are screwed.

2. Not likely
Holy Joe is a shrewd political operator.

He knows how to stay politically active. It may be damned ugly, but he knows.
