I love how fast politics moves. Hillary Clinton shoots her campaign in the face with her comment about how if you object to the IWR, you'd best vote for somebody else; now it seems that the wingnuts have officially decided that Rudy Giuliani is unsuitable for the presidency. There's a thread over on Freeperville where it seems that supporters of--and possibly shills for--Duncan Hunter have gone off and started bashing Rudy, and the rest of the herd has followed suit. "Gun grabber," "death of the GOP," and all that. Best of all, the anti-Rudy party has the blessing of Freeperville's controllers: the moderators are deleting pro-Giuliani posts.

Ah, sweet joy. It was only a matter of time until somebody started the smear campaign on Rudy. I'm honestly rather surprised they didn't start with the photo of him in drag at the gay pride parade, but hey, as long as it's happening. Pity for Rudy--if he'd returned to his original party affiliation and run as a Democrat, he might have been unstoppable. Not that I mind--never really liked him that much.
