1. Sounds great!
I am a part time student at a community college so no word here. Please keep us updated! I will be curious if this is successful!

2. Great that Howard Zinn is behind this.
Edited on Wed Feb-14-07 09:19 AM by madame defarge
He was very effective in leading student strikes during the Vietnam War.

Also good to see that the two schools Obama attended (Occidental & Columbia) are behind this.

Makes me long for the good old college days. We old folks need to figure out how to help support this. We need to help get more colleges & universities involved.

On edit: I'm going to pass the WCW link on to college students & professors I know. Thanks for the info.

4. I would love to
but I work 8-5. My classes are at night. I am a member of a peace group here and I am the youngest member at 23. No young people will get involved. I have tried so hard to get college kids interested and there is no interest.
