Bill Richardson?
What is known about him?

I went to his website. All I got from it was that he has great diplomacy skills.

Could not find anything on issues.

1. Without a doubt
The most qualified of any person except for Wes Clark or Gore.

Sadly he will be lucky to still be in the race by March of 08.

2. Let Us Know What You Find Out
At this point there are no electable anti-war Democrats in the race.

3. The only one
who wants to get out now. The rest seem to want to be elected first.

5. Vilsack also wants to get out of Iraq now.
So says a couple DU threads anyway, based on his statements at the DNC.

4. You can find info here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Richardson http://billrichardsonblog.com/ http://www.governor.state.nm.us/governor.php

As a congressman, Ambassador to the UN, secretary of Energy and Governor (he just won re-election by the widest margin in NM history) he is arguable the most experienced person in the 08 mix right now.

He has a true love of diplomacy (a complete 180 from Bush), and has 4 Nobel Peace Prize nominations for his foreign negotiations.

Some people feel he didn't do enough for the 2004 New Mexico recount. However, he has since done a lot more to secure voting than most other governors...

Santa Fe, NM - Governor Bill Richardson yesterday signed a bill making New Mexico the fourteenth state to require voter-verified paper ballots (VVPBs) for its voting systems. As amended and passed, New Mexico Senate Bill 678 also requires audits to compare a portion of paper ballots with electronic vote tallies.

6. He spoke at the DNC meeting and was impressive.
Maybe you could find a transcript. It was carried by CSPAN.
