Bush "state of the economy" speach today
I heard on the news this morning that Bush would be giving a "state of the economy" speach today because in the words of a white house spokesperson .... "many americans dont realize how strong the economy actualy is" ...
Words like those are not what I needed to start my day .... frigging assholes.
And to think it was just yesterday when I heard it was "national engineers week" where the nation honors its valuable engineers (does this include the ones who havent gotten a single job interview in 5+ years like myself) ...
I am SOOOOOOO sick of the B.S....
Someone make it stop :)

1. After six months unemployed, you drop off the radar....
so as not to screw up the "full employment" numbers that I am sure the Chimp will be screeching.

2. Where do they come up with the poll numbers of people who
think the economy is rosy? I don't know a single person who's doing well at the moment. Our own business, which is usually slow throughout the holidays, has tanked. The worst we've seen it since 1982.

3. On an upbeat note ...
Judging by the number of unsolicited calls I have gotten the past few weeks, it appears that the price of building materials are going to fall through the floor as predicted. Everyone is suddenly offering 20-30% off on everything, people must not be able to move anything in this "roaring economy".

4. If he's still trying to scare everybody
he could do some serious fear-mongering by speaking truthfully.
