To the best suporters in the world
We lost the race, but we gained so much more. I no longer feel alone anymore . Until Clark I was convinced we would lose the election this year. He is the only candidate who has ever got me to come off my wallet.

We had a chance to support the man who would have been the best President in a generation.

Regardless of whom you choose to support just know we fought the good fight.

If you need me just PM or look for me in GD or the Lounge.

Love ya always
In Clark we trust!

2. I'll have to admit....
Clark supporters here are the best organized of all the camps and I've envied the organization here.

You guys have nothing to be saddened about.

When one does his/her best...you always come out on top!

6. Thanks for the kind words
I'm in awe of my fellow Clark supporters. They're a great bunch.

And Dean supporters do a damn good job of fighting for their man, also. :)

5. Me too
For now I'm swearing off politics
While mostly feel numb, I'm trying to remember back to the early days of the offical campaign (It's easy it was only a few months ago) When Clark's message was about patriotism and it's true meaning. I can't forget the line from the 60 minutes interview "When you can do good, you should."
I'm holding on to that idea. Screw politics. Screw the primaries. There is so much out there that needs to be done. Give blood. Deliever groceries to elderly. Mentor a child. Pick up the trash in the park. Be proud of being an american.
Forget about politics for awhile, I'm taking Wes's lead and doing what I can to make this a better country.

Crap now I'm crying.

8. I think you just described the New American Patriotism.
Except for the screw politics thing. I doubt anyone can mentor a child and not eventually see that their voice is needed.

I believe we're going to be okay in the end.

11. I'd suggest supporting him until he tells you otherwise.
I listened to his concession speech tonight....he truly makes me proud to be a Democrat. He has to be part of the next Democratic administration in whatever capacity he wants to serve.

10. Thanks for your efforts, Xultar. You gave good example.
Now I can go back to my life, which was interrupted with MeetUps, phonecalls, postcards and fundraising.

Too bad. I really would have enjoyed seeing Wes take the oath of office next January. Hopefully, it will be a democrat with his hand on that Bible. But still, no matter who takes that Oath, I'll know the best man isn't.

Pity
