This is so sad....

This is the worst day of my life.

I LOVE YOU WES. You were not a Washington Bureaucrat , your were the real thing.

I wish the Democratic party had united around you.

F*ck you, Terry Mcauliffe, the DLC, the "Business as usual Democrats" and the corporate media.

How could people ignore a liberal 4-star General, I guess Democrats are as stupid as republicans.

Welcome to four more years in hell with W.

This is so horrible.

I think I'm about to burst into tears.

22. If there is a brokered convention
Kerry will still likely be the nominee, and whever comes in second will be the VP. Unlikely to happen, as in the weeks before the convention, the superdelegates are all pretty much told by thr party leadership to shift their votes to the lead candidate and they do if they do not want the party to bring in someone with more party loyalty the next time they want to run for office and have the national office not back their nect campaign. It cost a lot of money and support to run any Senate or Congressional campaign, as well as local ones.

3. Ditto just about everything you said...
except for the "worst day of my life" part... for me that was when I found out my husband was going to Iraq and I wouldn't even get to say good-bye.

10. So forget about politics
While mostly feel numb, I'm trying to remember back to the early days of the offical campaign (It's easy it was only a few months ago) When Clark's message was about patriotism and it's true meaning. I can't forget the line from the 60 minutes interview "When you can do good, you should."
Hold on to that idea. Screw politics. Screw the primaries. There is so much out there that needs to be done. Give blood. Deliever groceries to elderly. Mentor a child. Pick up the trash in the park. Be proud of being an american.
Forget about politics for awhile, take Wes's lead and do what you can to make this a better country.

Crap now I'm crying. :(

11. What does Terry McAuliffe have to do with this?
It's not his fault Democrats chose to vote for other people.

20. yeah right now
because there were some good people challenging him. As the field gets thinner, those voices are lost and all we have is Kerry's ...
which was weak before Dean and Clark and which is boring and uninspiring to boot.

Also wait 'til the well-stocked, well-financed and media-supported team Bush unleashes the attack dogs. :scared:

14. Feel free to cry...
I have met so many people on this campaign. It's so hard to listen to everyone say "goodbye" and give "well wishes." I had never felt so positive about anything in my life. It truly does hurt you deep within.

15. I'm so sorry.
We all lost a good candidate today. The DLC Terry McAuliffe and the media should take their credit due. They shot him down on purpose.

A Kucinich supporter whose candidate is in the same boat.

16. As a Dean supporter....
who suffered through the Fall, Iowa, the scream, NH and mini-Tuesday...I sympathize with your pain...

But don't leave politics!!!

If our guys had won, we would still have had alot of work to do! This was the first battle in the war to take back our party from the special interests and make it a true people's party again!!!!

Remember the first two battle in the Civil War...didn't go too well for the North!

What we need to do is build on what we have learned and experienced in this campaign....we need to rebuild the grass roots of the party and make it the number one force in this Party!!!

We need to be the AARP of the Democratic Party!!!

We need to use our fund raising prowess to send members to Congress who have no strings attached to any special interest groups or the party leadership!

We need to put boots on the ground, train our people, bring the young people along in a tradition of political activism that will reinvigorate our Party and our nation....

Take time to grieve....dry your tears, and than join those of us who have decided to make a real commitment to wrest control of our Party from those who seek to only feather their economic nests at the expense of the people!!!

Don't give up the fight! This is going to be a long bloody war...we will stumble, we will fall...but we will not fail!!!
