Norm Coleman injured 'dumpster diving.' No, really...
www.wcco.com

he should maybe practice this for after he's hurled out of office.

"U.S. Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.) injured his forehead two weekends ago dumpster diving, a Washington Post blogger is reporting.

Mary Ann Akers said in her "The Sleuth" column Friday that the Senator returned to Washington D.C. last week with a "prominent gash" on his forehead. Coleman was reportedly knocked nearly unconscious while dumpster diving in St. Paul.

Coleman defended his actions, telling Akers he was not digging for food, rather was "looking for something his wife accidentally threw in the dumpster." Coleman later elaborated he was diving for an antique lamp in the dumpster behind his St. Paul home, which is being renovated."

7. Hey Norm...
Hey Norm :}( }(

The best place for beginning Republicans to try dumpster diving is behind the local Krispy Kreme. Lots of calories to bulk up for yer average 300 pound Repuke to feed his fat ass on. :donut:

10. Must have been the UN's dumpster
That's where he gets his "oil-for-food" material.

And a refreshing snack, as well.

11. Coleman injured by a dumpster might be equal to the story about Bachman
hiding in bushes to avoid the press. I don't think this is breaking news. As I wrote last week when the injury was talked about, all politicians in Minnesota don't compare to Mondale - a class act of a man.

Bachman: Minnesota's newest House of Representatives 'leader' in Washington - Michelle Bachman, the clinger and bush brambler.

15. Someone ought to tell Norm, that 'dumpster diving' is more of a figure of speech.
You don't actually have to DIVE into the dumpster!

18. That's not a lamp - it's a major award!
And, the dumpster is where Norm belongs.... I think there could be a 2008 slogan in this story for the DFL.

19. I threw an old lamp into a dumpster two weekends ago
And I thought I saw a character who looked like Senator Coleman skulking around nearby. I wonder if he got hurt retrieving the very lamp I threw out. Could my garbage have played a role in his injury?
