Freep at the Office who is dating a DC Police Officer claims the "Hippies" were encouraging the Anarchists. That the normal peace protesters were egging them on. I told her that he was selectively seeing what he wanted to see. I don't buy it for a second.

Crazy ass anarchist youths needed no egging on, they were doing their own misguided thing. Other than this stupid nonsense, the other 100,000 - 500,000 protestors were entirely peaceful.

3. I was there. People behaved in a variety of ways. My question to freepers would be

It was not a particularly damaging incident in any way that I could see. People with no power were trying to make their voices heard. If they did graffitti damage to the Capitol, (and I didn't see anything like that at all), it will get cleaned off.

Want damage and bad behavior? Look at the Bush admin for the past six years. People have been drowned and blown to pieces. Tell the freep to get some perspective.

I will post pics of the anarchists and others from the Capitol steps later tonight or tomorrow, so keep an eye out for them if you want to get an idea of what it was like.
