I believe in him. I know he's making the right decision rather than hang on to the bitter end. But you're right to feel your heart broken just a little bit tonight. My heart is broken too, but muscles mend with time, care, and sleep. Go get all three because in a week it's back to the trenches. The war is still on.

9. I've been in since the Draft Clark movement...

but I think Wesley is wise enough to know when to go. He and his family made a decision based on info to which we are not privy, so I am willing to trust him that this is what he wanted or needed. He will speak tomorrow, and he will eventually endorse another candidate.

Let's trust him that he knows what he's doing and why he's doing it.

11. I wish he didn't see the need to get out.

But he hasn't been able to improve his position among the candidates. Maybe he can position himself to run with Kerry on a Kerry/Clark ticket if he starts canpaigning for Kerry over the remaining months before the convention.

I'll miss his campaign. I worked for the campaign and donated as often as I could. And ITA that America needs Wes Clark. The country is losing out on a great opportunity, IMO.

If he changes his mind before tomorrow, he can count me in; he's still my first choice.
