Or is the race just over?

Seems that it's pretty well over, to me, but, I think Dean's still rolling, here. These two wins are killer for Edwards/Clark, but they won't stop Dean.

1. Dean rolling?
Where? I think Edwards is probably the only person still able to mount a challenge to Kerry at this point. Even if it is a one on one race now, Kerry will still probably get 40% of the delegates minimum from here on out. So realistically, I don't see even Edwards catching him.

Are there any big "winner takes all delegate" states? If so, that may be a strategy for someone.

3. Is he winning in the South? He didn't take over half of the votes
in any of the primaries. We just don't know where the votes would have gone had some of the other candidates not also competed.

I'm not sure that a strong second in both states tonight has "killed" Edwards, any more than Dean's been "killed" by his not having won any states and finished less well than he hoped, given his resources, in others.

It may be too late for some candidates, but my sense is that it is too late for everyone except Kerry, if that's the case.

5. Edwards and Clark are in better shape than Dean....
This might be a killer for Clark but Edwards is getting strong second places. Dean has yet to win a state...

9. States don't mean much if you don't have delegates.
I don't know what the delegate count is, but last I heard, Dean was still accumulating. I don't know about the other two.

6. It's down to Kerry and Edwards. Dean is history
You must be kidding me is Dean the only competition. He had a miserable showing tonight. 7% and 5%. That's pathetic.

11. Dean ? You're kidding right ? You're such a kidder !
the only people voting Dean are Republicans.

There were about 60% more votes cast in my precinct than voted Dem in 2000 (Richmond VA). I don't think they were all converts.
