1. Only heard about it from Kerry, during the last hearing he was in..
said he was finishing it up, and will be ready soon. Nothing heard since.

2. I'd love to see this happen!
This is what is needed.......

after four long years, we must reassess what the hell is going on. We cannot continue to rebuild Iraq as it keeps falling apart. We can not afford it.

3. Not that specifically, but did hear Hoyer saying it's being looked at
It's good to hear that Kerry said it. I also heard Biden or Levin (maybe it was Reid  LOL! ) say that looking re-authorizing/redoing the resolution is something they're looking at.

So, it looks like things are moving behind the scenes in both Chambers! They're telling us this is just 'the first step', and it's pretty clear that they are implementing plan B.

7. Plan A = non-binding
If he ignores as expected (and as he's demonstrating he's wont to do), Plan B=Binding.

4. It's up at youtube
Something about him saying that this is not the war they voted anymore. That this is not the same Iraq. I'll look for it for you. I think he means a revote so that they can NOT vote for what's going on.

12. Sen. John Kerry's goal is to end the war in Iraq.
Senator John Kerry's goal is to end the war in Iraq.

To do that, he will be introducing legislation to set a deadline for Bush to end the war.

We need your help to get this done.

--------------

SET A DEADLINE

Recently John Kerry wrote in the Washington Post, that with "U.S. troops in Iraq
in the middle of an escalating civil war, this is no time for politics."

"Half of the service members listed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial," Senator Kerry wrote,
"died after America's leaders knew that our strategy in that war was not working."

President Bush's strategy is not working and we need to change course now.
It is time to set a deadline for President Bush to redeploy our troops.

Last November's elections, when a Democratic congressional majority was elected,
made it clear that this is the will of a strong majority of the American people.
A movement is organizing, especially online, to make sure it happens.

Senator John Kerry will introduce legislation in the U.S. Senate to make
President Bush obey the will of the American people.

With your vocal support, Senator Kerry can get that legislation passed and compel
President Bush to redeploy our troops from Iraq.

SetADeadline.com is our first project to help mobilize the millions of people who have
already signed on with Senator Kerry. We will work to be a key partner of the growing
online progressive movement.

Together, we can change the direction of this country.
