It HAD to be intentional - I was so startled that I can't even tell you what the story was... I was too busy yelling "Yes! Let's see how they like THEIR party name truncated!"

I hope she starts a trend.....

2. Someone posted earlier today that a Democratic Senator used it on
the floor of the Senate this morning.

3. We could shorten it even further to the "Public" Party
like Public restroom. "Publican" - isn't that another term for a barkeep? That might work as well.

5. Since we are going that direction we might as well shorten that to
"Pubic".

13. Other ideas
"The Repo Party."

"The Gop," pronounced as an actual word, like "Gohp," and perhaps refer to them as "Goppers."

And finally, my favorite, "The Republick Party" and "The Republickers."

Unfortunately, we couldn't get away with calling them Repukes or Repubes or Pubes.
