Edited on Tue Feb-10-04 10:36 PM by Zynx
If Wes, god forbid, drops out, who will you support in the primaries?

1. No One, I Go Back To Independant
and probably won't vote AGAINST Bush.

I go into the polls to vote FOR someone.

No other Democrat running commands any respect from me other than Clark.

34. Clark support
The General has had my support from day one. I will support Any Dem against the most dangerous man in the world and I'm SURE that Clark will be voting for ABB should he not get the nomination. I intend to vote for Clark here in WI on the 17'th.

2. Kucinich
I was guilty of minimizing his campaign early on but if you base your choice on honor and integrty then DK is next in line if Clark were to drop out.

BTW I don't think Clark is dropping out.

3. If he drops tomorrow
Edited on Tue Feb-10-04 10:34 PM by RatTerrier
Well, there goes my plan to vote for him in Wisconsin.

I'll stay home for the primary vote. I'm not going just to kiss Kerry's ass.

I'll vote for Kerry or whoever the nom is in November.

My candidate is ABB!!!

ON EDIT: Totally hypothetical! He's in until he says otherwise, as far as I'm concerned.

if he doesn't go. Lieberman and CMB are beating Kucinich tonight.

43. He's still on the ballot
After all the resources he's been devoting to the state for the last several months, and considering our Lt. Gov. is the state campaign chair, I can't possibly see him dropping. Hell, he's likely to get at least second.

I predict he'll stay.

That makes a difference. In northern states Dean is the anti-Kerry and in southern states Edwards is.

18. MA... if Dean seems to have more of a chance than Edwards
I'll vote Dean. But in my view the anti-Kerry is the one candidate the second greatest overall chance of getting the nomination.

But that's all assuming that which hasn't happened! Clark may stay in!!!

I'll vote for anyone left who isn't responsible for this

And I swear to GOD if I get one more response from another camp TONIGHT OF ALL NIGHTS telling me I should run and make merry with them, I'm posting this photo again and reminding them what THEIR candidate did to OUR sons and daughters.

This party had a chance to make a stand. They belittled Kucinich, abandoned Dean, and ignored Clark. For the life of me, I'll never understand how some people sleep at night.

13. Goddam it, who do you think???
Edited on Tue Feb-10-04 10:39 PM by jchild
Whomever becomes the nominee will have my support. Why is that so hard to understand? How many Clark supporters have you heard say that they will only support Clark and won't vote in the GE if he isn't the nominee. I can't think of any.

In case you didn't know it, Clark supporters didn't get pissed and leave DU to start a Clark Underground website where pledges would be made to write in Clark in the General Election.

Clark supporters have been firmly "ABB" and I am sure his withdrawal (if or when it happens) will not change that.

And, might I add, that you could have waited until Clark decided and announced to pull out before asking this question.

Clark supporters believed that Clark had what it would take to depose Bush--we remain committed to deposing Bush. Whomever gets the nomination will be whom I will support. My last word on this topic.

On edit: So a few "new" Democrats are going to revert to their old party. If they want to enable Bush...

I changed my registration to Dem for Wes Clark and no one else. I'll go back to being Green and send McAuliffe a nasty e-mail telling him to kiss my ass, that lousy sonofabitch who did NOTHING when the media smeared Clark like it did, then vote for whoever runs against Bush, and get ready to seek political asylum in New Zealand.

May the Gods Damn the Party Establishment to the deepest Hell imaginable!

41. I won't do that
I will vote against him, but the Party has obviously shown that it does not give a shit of any kind what the little man says. They are too wrapped up in their little powergames and backroom deals. If Wes drops out, then I leave the party to its own devices, but I will vote for whoever runs against Bush from the party. I won't really have a choice anyway.

reality, I will just go for nobody and focus on local elections. I will vote for whoever the nominee is in the general election. However, my vote in the General election doesn't count in this 66% Republican State. I am calling it for Bush now.

I will support John Kerry. If Edwards or Dean beats Kerry, I will support Dean or Edwards.

The bottom line is we are ground-zero here in Florida.

I intend to twist it, once I get it in.

anyone. Will still vote Clark in NY primary via absentee ballot. I pledged him my vote a while ago, and I'm gonna enjoy ticking the box for him as it's the first time in a Dem primary I've actually cared about a candidate. He still has my support and vote, regardless.

Will vote for Dem nominee in Nov.

46. I will vote for CLARK no matter what
I have been feeling like my vote in the primary's didn't count at all anyway. I think this is the ONLY man that can beat *. Kerry will get strung up on his voting record. No independent or republican will cross the lines to vote for him. They would do that for Clark.

As for Edwards not enough experience. I stand behind my first choice. I will vote for Clark in the primary.

I will vote for the Democratic nominee come November. But my heart hurts for the idea that this is any longer a "big tent" party. This primary season has starkly illustrated that it has become anything but.
