6. I have such a good feeling about this man
more than Clinton, more than Gore - haven't felt this way about a candidate since Bobby Kennedy. Go Wes - stay in for all of us.

7. It sounds like...
...he is making up his mind as he speaks. At first I thought it was a dropping out speech, then he said they will win in the end ("the fight for our future"), now I cant really tell.

9. Yeah, that was weird
First he started out saying Kerry and Edwards had been called and thanked, they were great patriotic democrats, then he said "Look" and I thought he was dropping, but he started talking about Bush.

I've become convinced Clark wants Kerry to get the nomination.

13. Expect an announcement tomorrow
As he was leaving the room, he told a reporter who asked him if he was still in the race that "we'll talk about it tomorrow." Clearly he & Gert & Wes jr. are going to talk things over and make a decision and let us know. One thing I'm sure of: he won't waffle around about it the way Dean has. He'll be in, or he'll be out.

17. If Wes drops out, I will leave the Democratic party, I'll vote against W
and continue the fight, against the media. Until then, I'm still the general's man.

10. You don't get introduced
as the next President of the United States of America when you announce you're dropping out.

And just in case you missed it, he was introduced as the next POTUS

11. I couldn't tell either
He didn't say either way.

The one thing that struck me was that a supporter said "Please stay in" and Wes Clark said "We'll do everything we can".

It didn't sound very committal. Then the reporter asked him if he was staying in, and he said "We're gonna talk about everything tomorrow".

I feel like I'm watching The Bachelor/Average Joe/Joe Millionaire/Etc.

18. I don't think so
From his comments walking through the crowd after, it sounded like he was at least leaning heavily towards bowing out. A few of the questioners gave him a clear shot to say he was staying in, and he did not answer in the affirmative.
