Little Shit Bobby Jindal running for Governor of Louisiana
bobby jindal, congressman of a rather conservative district in south Louisiana says he'll run for governor. jindal who has been in politics his whole life recently said he's not a career politician. And he will tell anyone who will listen that he prays before he makes decisions. Its been a hoot watching him and Louisiana's dickhead Senator vitter fight over the microphone relative to anything about Katrina the past year and a half. Regardless of which way the political winds are blowing, ole bobby has the wind at his back. Governor Blanco spanked his ass last time. It would be nice to see it happen again and have jindal's seat taken by a democrat.

2. As he was
before the last election. He thought he'd get cute and get in the mud close to the election. Surprise, Blanco got down in the mud with him and surprised the little shit. And in some small way michael brown may be helping Blanco by bringing up Katrina and republican dirty tricks again. Some think jindal may have moved his announcement up becuase of that.

5. Remember they've moved a lot of Democrats out of the state
Didn't Blanco win by about 50,000 votes out of New Orleans last time?

6. I resent that!
The correct description for Jindal is not "little shit" but "fuckmook". :P

Re the birth-at-home stunt: Earth to Piyush (his given name): The state bird of Louisiana is not the stork but the pelican. So there. :P

Sorry you never got into town; I was busy enough as it was, what with a Twelfth Night party featuring many of my favorite bloogers, the march on Thurs. the 11th, and simply being in town for Eagles game day, due to a scheduling snafu! As Ahh-nuld would say, "I'll be ba-ack"!

7. Hope you had a great time teammate
I haven't been more then 10 miles away from home since Christmas, but I'm fixing to break out and head for Slidell this week - got a gift card to Lowe's. Been rather yucky weather lately. I'm looking forward to a nice sunny stroll in the quarter one of these Saturday's.

8. Both Blanco and Jindal suck
The Road Home program has been an absolute disaster under Blanco's leadership and she retained control of the national guard during Katrina instead of giving it to Bush to let him fuck up like she wound up doing anyway. Not to mention that she signed one of the most regressive abortion bans in the country.

I wish Mitch Landrieu would run but he already lost the mayoral race so I don't think he could be elected Governor.

As for Jindal, don't even get me started on his. I'm no longer registered to vote in Louisiana, so fortunately I won't have to hold my nose and pick one of these two. Honestly, bring Edwin Edwards back and I'd vote for him in a heartbeat over Jindal or Blanco.

9. Why no longer registered?
I would take blanco as the lesser of those two, however she may not run if the polls don't start picking up. Charlie Melancon would be an outside shot. I suspect if jindal loses the governor's race he will run against Mary Landrieu. Its just amazing how much running one who is not a career politician does.

10. I'm registered in Tennessee now
I think I am going to keep it that way for the time being because there's a much better chance that we will matter in the presidential primaries than Louisiana.
