'08 race starts tonight-expect many reaction shots of the already announced
Specifically I expect to see lots of time on air for Hillary and Barrack as well as McCain. McCain will probably lead the attempt at a standing ovation for the troops for the troops to win for the troops to have the support of loyal 'Murkans etc.

I don't expect Kucinich and Tancredo to get much air time.

I expect Brownback to be used as the balance for the two Dems and a few shots of Kerry.

2. I know Hillary already has "the look" down pat.
Last year at the SOTU, she expressed what so many of us feel without saying a word. And it definitely made it over the corporate-owned, self-serving media (also referred to as the MSM).

I wonder how many times tonight we'll see "the look" from Dems?

And THANK YOU in advance to all Dems in Congress who DO NOT APPLAUD * tonight.

11. You do realize that the Bush family is DEVOLVING
Look at W and that massive forehead on Jed sure it's great for busting open coconuts but the real Bush family had nameless Phillipinos boys to do that.

7. Keep an eye on Nancy Pelosi during the SOTU
She'll be behind the Chimp on the dais. If she holds up one finger, Bush has peed his pants. If she holds up two, he has crapped his pants.

9. Why are Hillary and Barrack even attending SOTU?
Edited on Tue Jan-23-07 02:55 PM by Va Lefty
I'd find something more important to do like rearrange my sock drawer. Seriously, there is no "up-side" for them to be there, and Kerry too for that matter. You know Faux news, and their allies, will be all over them for not applauding long enough or some stupid shit. Why open yourself up to that? I know they would criticize them for not attending but with no pics to show I think it would get less attention than the inevitable brohau over someone looking board or "sour" during the speech.

10. They are elected members of the legislature
they don't have to be there but to not be there would make more news than you want.

Oh yes they will be combing over every millisecond of footage and making a mountain out of everything.
