I Saw Hillary on ABC News last nite - she was really impressive.
I've never had an opportunity to listen to her before - being in the middle of the Midwest. But you know, I liked her. I was impressed with her. And I would love for a woman to do really well in this race.

2. Could you explain that a little more, please!
I really don't know anything much about Hillary.

3. She is very impressive.....
and I think she will do very well in this race. She is also capable of taking all the garbage from the opposition and will fight right back. I would love to have a woman president, it is way overdue in this country and Senator Clinton is more than qualified.

4. Rupert Murdock agrees with you 100% until after her nomination.

5. Rupert Murdoch has the right to his opinion..
and in this case he's right. I don't know what he will do after her nomination, if she gets nominated.

6. I'll tell you EXACTLY what he, and the rest of the M$M noise machine will do ...
they will rake her over the coals. The right wing is even sending folks to vote for her in the primary, that's because THEY KNOW she can NOT win a Presidential Election. They are attacking Obama because he has a fighting chance, once gleaning the Democratic Nomination, of winning the Presidency.

The intelligentsia of the Republican Noise Machine are anything but stupid.

11. Absolutely. I live among THEM, i.e., right wing nutcases.
I've worked for them and with them. They are sane save for their ideological views. It's as dangerous as religious fervor. In fact one friendly acquaintance started behaving nasty toward me when she discovered that I was a democrat. No joke, these people are possessed by their right wing ideology. :scary:

14. No, I don't despise Hillary, but I would not ever vote for her.

All my Republican acquaintances want Hillary to score the Democratic Nomination ... they love her for that ... after the nomination, then comes out the long knives.

You see, with ideology whether it's "ONLY Democrats" or "ONLY Republicans" ... more republicans rationalize that "The ends justify the means."

However, I've seen toned down version of Party First philosophy but most have a Country First view because our children's future lives are in the balance.

7. You Should Hear Her In Person
I was at a conference where she spoke, as well as Obama, Feingold, Sherrod Brown, Conyers, Pelosi, Kerry, etc. She out performed them all. She has such a presence. She really is a pleasure to listen to. Like her husband, she is very bright. Politically, I have mixed feelings about her but as a woman and a speaker, she is tops.

8. I will have to start paying attention.
I have to admit that I haven't because I just figured she didn't have a chance. I think I may have been wrong about that.

10. I am very proud of her as a candidate
My opinion of her and Bill is similar to that of many other people on our planet. We are so lucky to have the Clintons.

I still hate NAFTA and some other decisions he made I didn't agree with; but, that was Bill; this is Hill and there will be differences. She is her own woman.

Go Hillary!

12. How about this for an election: Hillary Clinton versus Newt Gingrich?
Edited on Tue Jan-23-07 09:58 AM by MGD
Man, that would be legendary. Either way, I support Hillary but I'm hoping it pans out this way.
