1. McCain
I am pretty sure that Senator McCain took Bush for a ride on the Strait Talk Express.

2. I hope it happens this time
Every one of these guys (+ Carol M-B) is great, and they each hit a different note, they each criticize Bush excellently, but slightly differently. They're a great team.

And I hope that whoever gets the nomination, all of the others will actively campaign for that person: Kerry, Dean, Clark, Edwards, etc.

That would be awesome!

8. 1992 for example
Wilder, Simon, Tsongas, Kerrey, Harkin all campaigned heartily for Clinton. Only Brown kept his distance.

7. It happens all the time
Jesse Jackson campaigned vigorously for both Walter Mondale and Michael Dukakis in 1984 and 1988 respectively.

Tsongas, Harkin and Kerrey stumped for Bill Clinton in 1992.

These are just a few examples.

Most politicians are grownups who don't pout and whine when they lose, but join together for the good of the party and the country once they have been retired from battle.
