Hillary's run at it
Let's review:

1989–1993---------Bush
1993–2001---------Clinton
2001-2009---------Bush
2009--------------Clinton again?

No thanks.
We need a change.

2. The fact that we apparently can't do any better than the Clintons...
...after nearly 15 years is just fucking sad.

3. Nothing personal of course
but the abrupt astuteness of your observation really depressed me.

4. I'll do everything I can to make sure she doesn't win the nomination

It's not just that I don't think she win in a general election. I don't care for her period and she isn't at all what the country needs after eight years of Chimpface.

I have mixed feelings on Barack Obama but at least he represents change and the future. Hillary just represents the same old shit. I'm sick to death of her, Bush, and anyone else who thinks they own the presidency simply because of their family name.

under Bill Clinton.

8. Hillary is not Bill
And Clinton was not the god of all Democratic presidents, anyway. He had his eight years and that's enough.

10. No, she's NOT Bill -
which apparently you forgot earlier.

Although I think she played a large role in Bill's presidency.

No he wasn't the "god of all Democratic presidents" - bu things were sure a hell of a lot better during those eight years than they are now - or were for a damn long time before he came into office.

We could do a hell of a lot worse than another "Bill". But - as you pointed out - Hillary ISN'T Bill.

Why isn't she entitled to her own eight years?

I like a lot of the candidates who are running - Obama, Edwards, Clark to name a few, - I'd love for Gore to run again. I don't know a lot about some of the others.

I'm sure there will be things I like about them and things I don't like about them. But I'm not going to BASH them or refuse to vote for them just because I might happen to like some other candidate better.

6. I agree. I think she is in for a rude awakening. I feel the country
as a whole is not going to embrace her, despite Bill's popularity.

I know I want to see someone who is brave enough to speak up for the people. How refreshing would that be? We need someone who is fearless, and her position on the war is not to my liking at all.

Right now, I am happy to stand behind Edwards, though what I would really like to see is Gore regain his rightful place. Maybe I'm dreaming, but wouldn't it be nice to see someone look out for us and the planet and take us away from oil dependence and into a new era? I'd like to Gore and Edwards.

9. Agree, we need a change
The Democrats need to look forward, not backward, for a person to lead our great nation. Someone that the Republicans cannot smear or humiliate. Someone with a strong family and strong family values. Someone that would appeal to both young and old. Someone that has stood up to this administration. Someone whose character has been attacked by the other side and endured unscathed. Someone that the Republicans fear most...Govenor Martin O'Malley.
