I want Edwards/Richardson 08

It seems that Richardson will announce that he'll make a run for the presidency. So, I think he'll make some noise, but he'll eventually lose out to John Edwards.

Since Edwards doesn't get along with Clark and Clark has said he won't be a VP, then I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Edwards/Richardson will be a very strong ticket against say McCain/Jeb Bush.

Richardson will negate McCain's strength in the southwest. He'll also help get latino voters. Edwards might carry some states in the south.

On the other hand, its entirely plausible that the ticket will be Clinton/Clark, but I have my doubts that Hillary can win the primary.

Damn. I'd love to see him as President but if he doesn't get the nomination, I think he'd be great in the VP spot.

about Richardson. I have a good friend in NM who has been watching him closely for many years. She is less than impressed, to say the least!

19. I have good friends in New Mexico who like him a lot

they wish that the 2004 election hadn't been fucked up by machines that lost votes, but like that he fixed it so that New Mexico now has all paper ballots with random audits. They like that he won re-election with almost 70% of the vote. They like that he is internationally respected and can do things like negotiate a ceasefire in Darfur. They like that he would break down ethnic barriers if he were elected.

To each their own, I guess.
