Conservatives want to stop Mel Martinez from RNC Chair
Popcorn anyone?

They're just tearing theirselves all apart. From www.stopmartinez.com:

This past November, Senator Mel Martinez (R-Florida) was announced as President Bush's choice as the next General Chairman of the Republican National Committee. The 165 voting members of the Republican National Committee will vote on his nomination on January 20, 2007.

There are many good reasons why people say that "Mel Martinez is Spanish for Harriet Miers." This web site is full of those reasons, including five good reasons why Republican Party National Committeemen and Committeewomen should reject the Martinez nomination.

--------------------------------

Actually, they need more Ken Mehlmans. The further to the right they go, the better it is for us. So yeah, stop Martinez.
