Remember when 'they' said Dems wouldn't have a cohesive
anti-war message, and kept saying it ad nauseum? Then, Dems came out with a strong letter sent to dimson stating our anti-war, anti-surge platform.
Now 'they' are saying Dems wouldn't dare cut off funding. Well, I for one plan on waiting to see what happens. 'They' have been wrong before, and 'they' could be wrong again.
Keep sending those letters, e-mails, making those calls, whatever it takes to let the Dems know where you stand. It does make a difference!

1. I'm with you
I believe the emails, calls and letters make a big difference. The ones who make contact with Congress are the people who vote.

A while back I saw a Congresswoman from another state on Hardball. Can't recall her name as there are so many Reps. But she spoke so well and I was very proud of her. So I sent her a thank-you email. A few weeks ago I received a note from her thanking me. The contents were to my point about how well she spoke to Tweety. She said she was so glad to receive the feedback. Evidently, she doesn't get much f/b. It was typed but she hand signed it. I'm keeping it as a reminder that the few minutes it takes to write or call get noticed.

:hi: Hamburgers for supper tonight!

3. Nope, no rollmops yet!
But with more bad weather on the way by the end of the week, I was just thinking of heading to the Polish grocery tomorrow. They're my best chance for finding rollmops and some good old fashioned Lithuanian rye bread. :9
