Stop the O'Reilly clock!
Edited on Tue Feb-10-04 03:18 PM by spooky3
Somewhere on the web there is a clock counting the seconds since O'Reilly said he would apologize if no WMDs were found.

I was stunned to see this on Yahoo:

(snip)

" Popular conservative television news anchor Bill O'Reilly, usually an outspoken Bush loyalist, said on Tuesday he was now skeptical about the Bush administration and apologized to viewers for supporting prewar claims that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.

"I was wrong. I am not pleased about it at all and I think all Americans should be concerned about this," O'Reilly said in an interview with ABC's "Good Morning America." "

It sounds as if he really has apologized, and if so, I must give him credit for that.

If O'Reilly is truly starting to wise up about how * cannot even claim to be a good conservative, then there is hope for all our candidates. I hope one of them will find a way to work this into his stump speech.

2. Keep the clock going.
It was a half harted apology in which O'Whorley blamed Tenet
for the failures and still trusts Bushler.

3. I missed it
I was getting ready for work this morning when I turned the channel and saw O'Reilly on there. I heard he was suppose to be apologizing, and I am ended up missing it altogether. I would liked to have seen it. Unfortunately, I do not believe this will not change many of his views. I believe, he decided to bite the bullet, apologize, just so he can say he is a man of his word. Other than that, I expect to see the same Old Bill O'Reilly.

4. All these guys disagree with Bush occasionally. They think it makes them
look like they really have opinions of their own. Don't take it seriously. This too shall pass.

6. Didn't he also say
that he'd "Never trust the Bush administration again"? His apology was even short of being half-assed.
