I mean, come on. Suppose when the Cons took over 12 years ago, the banner headline somewhere had read "Lott has 100 hours to turn America into Mississippi". We need some audacity on our side.

1. Nope. Fairness doctrine. Truth and fairness of presentation of |
|
position. That's all we need.

2. Yes. If I were a billionaire, there would be a Democratic version |
|
...of Fox News (though more honest.)
Alas, I'm not a billionaire, and no billionaires seemed to have decided to give us a Democratic version of Fox News.

8. You'd have to find enough liberals willing to lie and slander 24/7, |
|
put it could probably be done. Some of the turncoat Dems like Susan Estrich and Juan Willaims could probably be bought off.

17. "...find enough liberals willing to lie and slander 24/7." Precisely the problem. |
|
I don't want that--we need a clear distinction that journalism is journalism and entertainment is entertainment.

13. See? A simple recitation of the truth would suffice |
|
We don't need no Faux News. Just asking a few pertinent questions based in reality and drawing a logical conclusion from actual Republican antics would be a sufficient counterbalance to Faux. They try too hard, anyway.

9. We don't need a station that will slant |
|
things like that, it's wrong. We need truth and fortunately the truth is on our side that's why they don't like it and they have to lie. All the media has to do is tell the truth like Keith does.

10. Fox News is claptrap and baloney, but the sheep who watch it |
|
would watch something like it or be just as delusional without it.
All we need is fair elections. The American people can see thru almost any level of claptrap as long as there is at least minimal reportage of liberals so they can hear the other side.
What the American people can't do is assure that their vote is counted fairly.
I personally am sort of glad Fox is around to laugh at. It's a lot easier to recognize a good news program when you can compare it with the absolute crawling with fungus and sewage rock bottom. The differences are sharper that way.

12. I agree that fair elections are key BUT |
|
the Fairness Doctrine should be reinstated as quickly as possible before 2008. I'm sick of the MSM helping the repukes swift-boat our candidates.
