Time to begin questioning *'s grip on reality in formal sessions of
the House and Senate, not snipping from the sidelines, but upfront and personal. Such as, "Madame Speaker, I stand before this body and worry that the President does not have a "grasp on reality" and we must consider wither he has the ability to perform the duties of President".

No more "wink wink or high congressional source said", but on the record in respectful Congress speak.

This is how we will change the situation. We must "make the news" and quit begging for air time.

2. I agree. Is he mad, or bashful, or playing poker with Iran. We
need to make him defend his positions.

3. He is quite mad.
And he needs to be exposed instead of protected and excused.

9. I totally agree! Hear hear!
So many people are thinking it, and quite a few are even saying it -- but only to family or trusted friends, usually. Not in (once-)respected public forums like our House and Senate!

This must be done, and soon!

I fully believe that once some brave Rep or Senator breaks the ice by soberly questioning the sanity of the pouty would-be dictator, then and only then would everyone else in positions of responsibility be compelled to deal with the possibility....

I was just watching a program about the last days of WWII in Berlin, and felt a shudder run through my spine as they spoke of how Hitler progressively lost his grip on reality as Germany's defeat became imminent. Remember all the pointless "sacrifice" he demanded (not asked!) of his depleted troops, of young boys and old men, of war-weary civilians, while this madman was allowed to continue to give orders?

Are our Congress members going to allow the same sort of thing from Dubya with respect to his pointless, unwinnable wars in Iraq and Afghanistan?

If the first courageous soul in the Senate or House would just broach the subject of Dubya's SANITY once, openly and soberly, putting it into the record (and you KNOW that would get out even on the protective corporate media!), I think this would force everyone to face facts and deal with them.

Remember what the twelve-step programs have so wisely taught us?

"We're only as sick as our secrets".......

PLEASE, lawmakers, you who are supposed to represent us and protect our beloved country -- MAKE IT A FORMAL, PUBLIC ISSUE which can be ignored no longer!!
