Thank You Gov.Napolitano for a smart bipartisan Inauguration in a GOP State!

Janet Napolitano is a smart politician who knows how to get repeatedly elected in a Republican State.Yesterday's Inauguration, which she invited all the statewide candidates to share for the first time, and had them all sworn in by Sandra Day O'Connor, was an lesson for the rest of our candidates to learn. She shared her stage with 3 Republican officials who hate the Democratic Party. She had herself and the officeholders sworn in by a Republican icon.The Republican's made idiots of themselves with their speeches and one was even gently rebuked by Justice O'Connor.This is the style and skill that made Janet win in a landslide and carry the Republican vote, as well as the Democratic vote.Congratulations to a fabulous Governor who knows not only how to govern ,but how to win in a red state.I wish we had more like her instead of the vengeance driven my way or the highway ideologues!

Hillary watchers please note: there are other women who have a better handle on how to win friends, influence people, and not cave in to RW nutcases to win votes.

Napolitano is a class act and can impact voters in a very positive way. She is a tough executive without being shrill.

As for your point, I didn't see the inauguration, of course, but I agree pragmatism is the way to achieving our idealistic goals. Kudos to Napolitano for her successes as governor.
