National Journal's 2008 White House Rankings, Jan 3, 2007
We should know who the two major-party nominees are by Feb. 5, 2008, allowing for the longest general election campaign in this country's history.

Details here, click if you dare

1. I don't think they should have bumped Kerry....
Just because they aren't sure he's going to run. Since when?

I think the indication is he's running.

Did they say Mitt Romney and Rudy are tied on the GOP side? Interesting. We will mop the floor with them in 08' :)

8. notice
how Kerry is at the botton of the list, dead last? Seems I wasn't the only one with the perception he wasn't running.

9. If you would please read....
It says they'll raise him back up the list if he decides to run. He was 5th before that, I believe.

And a lot of people are questioning whether he will run. If he wasn't going to run, he would have already announced it. I don't know if Kerry will or will not run, but if I know Kerry like I think I do....don't count him out yet!

4. I don't need to read the "Details", cause I already know who the are
and in what order too!

Too bad that the media didn't let us pretend for must a minute that we were the ones deciding! But I guess there's no reason for pretense...cause it seems like everyone's happy with smile, hair and famous husband.

5. VILSACK
It is good to see TOM VILSACK in the top four. I think that he is a candidate worth watching if Gore does not run and if the Democrats need a viable anyone but Hillary candidate. Personally I do not think America is ready for Obama or that he is ready for the position, I feel Hillary is too divisive and that Edwards suffers as he has been out of office and lacks experience in the first place.
Can VILSACK win a Presidential election? I would be interested in feedback on this.

VILSACK/RICHARDSON '08 ?

6. Hear, hear
.

6. Joseph Biden, Christopher Dodd & Wesley Clark (last ranking: unranked)
A three-way tie between senior statesmen Biden, Dodd and retired Gen. Wesley Clark. One interesting thing about Obama's candidacy is that it opens up a vacuum in the primary. Follow this train of thought: Obama's inexperience highlights Clinton's relative inexperience, which highlights Edwards' inexperience, which leaves room for someone to play the "let's not go the Bush route again" card. And while Delaware's Biden, Connecticut's Dodd and Arkansas' Clark all have their flaws, all can claim uber-experience to actually do the president's job, and it's possible the Iowa caucus-goers may demand an experienced candidate in the mix.

10. Wait, Vilsack is fourth?
Vilsack?

Kerry and Clark rank so 'low' but Vilsack is fourth?

I don't think so!
