Would you rather have the Senate or House?

Personally, I'd rather have the House. That's kinda my favorite part of Congress for some odd reason. Probably cause there are so many people, so many opinions, and it's a bit more partisan. You all?

1. The Senate for one reason only
The Senate approves judges and Supreme Court Justices.

14. Bingo!
And such judgeships can last for decades and touch people's lives for much longer.

2. The House represents the people
and each member represents a set percent of people in his state. We directly elect them and they're responsible to us.

The Senate was originally elected by state legislatures and the Senate represents the individual states, not the people within them. We now elect them directly, but the populations they serve are not equal.

I think we're going to need both houses plus the Presidency to undo the mess that 37 years of unbroken conservative rule have caused.

3. I'm not talking about anything specific,
To whats happening now and which House of Congress you'd prefer we have to fix it. I'm asking in general, if you could only pick one House of Congress which would you choose?

6. The Senate - judges
Judges are the only lifetime appointments a president makes. All other appointments are either for a set number of years or as long as the current president wants them in office. No matter how bad the president's choice, the term will end. Judicial appointments, on the other hand, can't be undone.

15. Why does the idea of Bernie Sanders as President make you vomit?
I can hardly imagine anyone I'd like to see in the job more, myself.

13. Let me start by saying this conversation is more fun since we actually have both
But it's a mixed bag. The House is much better for setting the agenda and controlling the conference committees. The Senate confirms judicial appointments.
