Reid on Senator Johnson: "He's going to be just fine."
every now and again, it's nice to step away from the madness and just feel good about the human drama behind the news ...

How about a rare moment of rock solid DU consensus for this ...

source: http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20061217/pl_afp/ussenatepolitics_061217174800

"He's doing very well. I have been with him every day, will continue to be with him when I can," Reid said, suggesting that the worst danger is over.

"I don't think I need to go every day now. His improvement has been significant," Reid said. "He's going to be just fine."

I believe Reid on this. He obviously cares about Johnson on a personal level judging from the way
he reacted. Johnson has a son in Iraq and I hope they're' giving him a break or two also...time to
see his dad.

Great news. Thanks.

8. I am worried about Reid's health. Has he been checked lately?
He said something about supporting more troops in Iraq, and i wonder if delirious statements is a result of a stroke.

11. Thank God for that.
Just as an aside, I decided to check out the "discuss" section, to see what all the morons were saying about this. Lots of moronic crap, but at the top of the page I found this.

Yahoo! News is working on new ways for readers to comment on the news and participate in a discussion around it. While we work on our new community features, the message boards that have been linked from individual news articles will be taken offline Dec. 19.
As currently set up, the Yahoo! News message boards allow a small number of vocal users to dominate the discussion. In addition, related discussions from similar news articles are not easily linked. Over the next few months, we plan to offer new discussion forums based on topics in the news and incorporating the latest features to foster a better discussion for all of our readers.

I wonder how they're ever going to bring that sewer pit under control. It's a good object lesson for those who don't think DU should be moderated.
