3. I did send an email to Peter Jennings

right after the "debate" to thank him for using the opportunity to get that issue back out into the media and into public discourse.

If the media has managed to use that issue to kill Clark's candidacy, then at least he took the bullet for the Democratic party, and helped to bring out an issue that could kill W in the election. For that reason alone, all Dems should be grateful to Wes.
