I just made my first campaign contribution ever

to the Howard Dean campaign. I believe in him. Is that such a bad thing that a candidate makes me believe in him and inspire me to give him my hard earned cash. It would seem some here would call me a sucker or a fool, but isn't this what it is all about? Being inspired and feeling empowered by your candidate of choice?

I am glad Kucinich is staying all the way also. I really like him, but Dean captured my heart first. I hope all of our candidates stay until the end and all have a voice.

I think it's great when a candidate is able to inspire people like that. I've given quite alot to my candidate and this is the first primary season that I've ever been inspired to actively support someone. It's wonderful that so many of our candidates our drawing on such passion from ordinary people. It gives me some hope that our democracy can survive.

I have gone to bat for Dean so many times I've lost count.

I don't regret it a bit. Last winter when the war was building
Dean said what no one else would with spirit. Now when so many will
quickly forget who was where and when he is still standing up
telling the truths the Washington insiders fear.

At one time I thought it was hopeless but still gave then
it seemed that he would walk through the primaries, people
said that the right was greasing the rails because they wanted
him. Now the truth is plain Dean is a threat to the corrupt
and vicious system that controls this once proud nation.

My first political contribution was to Dean, too. I agree that he inspires people to look beyond their own little worlds and consider themselves part of something larger. That's exactly why I've been supporting his campaign for the past year.
